Monami Entertainment CEO Mona Scott-Young — whose roster includes Missy Elliott and VH1 shows Love & Hip Hop and This Is Hot 97 — will be honored at the eighth annual Toast to Urban Entertainment Executives.
Celebrating Women’s History Month, the event will take place on March 25 at H.O.M.E. (House of Music & Entertainment) in Beverly Hills, Calif. Among the other female executives being honored that evening: BET VP of talent casting Robi Reed and ASCAP associate director Mir Harris.
Each year, the Toast to Urban Entertainment Executives salutes the industry achievements of key executives from the realms of music, television, film, radio and other related arenas. Former honorees include Norwood & Norwood CEO Sonja Norwood (Brandy) and Interscope Geffen A&M VP of publicity Yvette Gayle.
