Singer-songwriter Missy Modell splits her time between her native New York and Los Angeles just as she splits her musical stylings between contemporary faves and nostalgia-inducing throwbacks. Currently pursuing her first solo project (she’s worked with Timeflies and Mike Stud before), she has put a unique twist on a 90s classic.
Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night” and Fetty Wap’s rap smash “679” make for a surprisingly delightful mashup combo, especially with Modell’s dance-ready vocals.

“In honor of Throwback Thursday, I wanted to release something effortless and authentic to me, a song that was the personal soundtrack to my adolescent life,” Modell said. “Having recently gone through a bit of an evolution, this seemed to be the perfect anthem to re-launch my artist project with.
“I collaborated with my best friend icantwait, and we are so excited to share this with the world,” Modell continued. “Also keep on the lookout! I have an exciting campaign in upcoming weeks, in association with some really exciting brands.”
