On the heels of her four wins at Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards, country star Miranda Lambert is developing an hour-long drama show for ABC Family, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The project will be based on Lambert’s childhood in Texas. The scripted drama would revolve around a family in Texas whose parents are private investigators, with the children assisting in solving crimes.
Lambert, who was a finalist on the first season of USA’s Nashville Star in 2003, would serve as an executive producer with her mother Beverly, manager Marion Kraft and Kapital Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan. Memphis Beat’s Scott Kaufer will write and also exec produce.
