Miley Cyrus is getting into the fashion spirit of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” which features her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, on the remix.
On Saturday (May 4), Miley posted a selfie of herself on social media wearing a slick looking red Gucci cowboy hat — a reference to the lyrics from the cowboy-themed viral hit.
“Cowboy hat from @gucci literally @LilNasX,” she captioned the photo on Twitter.
In the second verse of “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X raps: Ridin’ on a tractor/ Lean all in my bladder/ Cheated on my baby/ You can go and ask her/ My life is a movie/ Bull ridin’ and boobies/ Cowboy hat from Gucci/ Wrangler on my booty.”
In late April, Lil Nas X topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth week with “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray. The song concurrently posted a fourth week at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
