Miley Cyrus will have a chance to show off her comedy skills when she hosts “Saturday Night Live” on Mar. 5. The singer will make her debut appearance on the NBC sketch show, with a musical guest for the episode yet to be named.
The “SNL” gig will be Cyrus’ first confirmed TV appearance since a video that showed the 18-year-old star smoking salvia through a bong leaked online in December. “I’m not perfect,” the pop singer recently told Marie Claire. “I made a mistake… I’m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans.”

Although Cyrus has not yet appeared on the show, the “SNL” cast has already parodied the singer with sketches titled ” The Miley Cyrus Show,” in which Vanessa Bayer plays Cyrus as a talk-show host and Jason Sudeikis plays her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.
