Tonight (May 23), The Voice aired its season finale. The star-studded episode included performances from the likes of Chris Stapleton, Jennifer Hudson (who will be a coach next season), Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, Usher, Miley Cyrus and many more.
Before Cyrus started singing her latest hit “Malibu” — surrounded by greenery, recreating scenes from the music video — she dedicated the performance to Ariana Grande and “everyone who experienced that horrific attack.” She then warmly said, “Our hearts are with you.”
Cyrus’ dedication was in response to the recent bombing at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England that occurred following Grande’s concert.
I’d like to dedicate this song to my good friend @ArianaGrande and everyone who experienced that horrific attack. – @MileyCyrus #VoiceFinale
