Miley Cyrus has become the latest celebrity to bare it all for fashion designer Marc Jacobs’ “Protect the Skin You’re In” T-shirt campaign.
20-year-old Cyrus posed nude for the fashion designer’s campaign which is aimed at raising awareness and funds for melanoma research.
The pop sensation now joins the ranks of high profile female celebrities like supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kate Upton, and Heidi Klum, actresses Eva Mendes and Hilary Swank, and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham — all of whom have posed nude for Marc Jacobs’ “Protect the Skin You’re In” campaign.
Jacobs, who runs the campaign along with business pal Robert Duffy, spoke candidly about Cyrus to NYDailyNews and referred to the pop star as, “a friend of mine for a while” and “a lot of fun to be around.”
Additionally, Jacobs spoke to Women’s Wear Daily about Cyrus saying, “She is talented in many mediums from music to film—she really has a very good, solid head on her shoulders. I adore her.”
Fans can purchase Miley’s “Protect the Skin You’re In” t-shirt at Marc Jacobs stores for $35. Sales from all the shirts in Jacobs’ campaign benefit the NYU Cancer Institute and NYU Langone Medical Center.
