Miley Cyrus, star of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” and her father, television co-star and duet partner Billy Ray Cyrus, will perform on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, Nov. 12. They are also scheduled to present a trophy that night during the 42nd Annual Country Music Association Awards on ABC.
Earlier this year the pair scored a top 5 hit on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.”
The “Good Morning America” concert event will take place on the Chevy Stage at the Sommet Center’s outside plaza at the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue in Nashville and is presented by Chevrolet.
That same stage will play host to the 2008 Chevy CMA Awards Kickoff Concert a day earlier, on Nov. 11. Rodney Atkins, the Eli Young Band, Kevin Costner and Modern West, and Heidi Newfield will take the stage beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Previously announced awards show performers include co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, along with Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Atkins, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and the Wailers, the Eagles, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, James Otto, Kellie Pickler, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
Presenters, in addition to Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus include Newfield, Darius Rucker, Swift, Josh Turner, actress Reese Witherspoon and Lee Ann Womack.
