The MIDEM international music market and conference in Cannes is uniting with its digital-focused sibling MidemNet and cutting prices for 2010.
MidemNet, previously a curtain raiser for MIDEM, will now be held over five days rather than two. It takes place Jan. 23 to Jan. 27 and will feature a two-day conference program as well as digital workshops and a showcase for start-ups.
MIDEM will begin Jan. 24 and all delegate passes will offer access to both events in 2010 for the same price as this year’s MIDEM ticket, €575 ($807).
