Midas Records Nashville has inked a distribution deal with Navarre.
The label recently signed the group Emerson Drive as its flagship act, with an album due in early summer. Also signed to the label’s country roster is newcomer Lindsey Grant, while Jessie Daniels has been signed to the label’s contemporary Christian division.
Midas was launched in August with an upper management team that includes owner Ron Clapper, veteran artist managers Mike Martinovich, Stan Moress and Al Schiltz, as well as Bob Morrison and Alan Siegel. Morrison was previously VP of J-Bird Records. Siegel was president of Trans Continental Entertainment and director of marketing for Jive Records. Heading A&R efforts for the label are top Nashville songwriter Keith Follese and music publisher Brad Allen.
