Pitman High School in Turlock, Calif. recently hosted a talent rally that was highlighted by one young lad absolutely nailing a re-creation of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” dance. Even holograms don’t have moves like this dude.
The performance, which starts around the 1:10 mark, has everything you’d want from an MJ tribute: fancy footwork, finger-snaps, leg kicks and precise movements all around. As the YouTube clip confirms, the student with the low hat and single white glove did indeed win the talent competition.

By the way, that YouTube video is quickly going viral — 2.4 million views in a day’s time! Pretty great timing for the kid, whose performance occurred the same week that Jackson’s “Xscape” album notched a No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, and that the single “Love Never Felt So Good” barreled into the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart.
