After announcing a new album via Reddit last week, indie-dance darlings MGMT shared an audio/visual snippet of sounds to come via Instagram.
The band won the hearts of millions with 2007’s Oracular Spectacular and has struggled to regain that same level of adoration with more sonically explorational albums Congratulations and MGMT. The forthcoming LP Little Dark Age sounds like it’s gonna be lo-fi and funky, best suited for private bedroom dance parties or long highway drives.
The sounds are accompanied by flash images of cute, romantic things as well as MGMT in the studio. Check it out below:
