As Metallica teases new music from its next album, here is some news from the metal icons we can bank on. Metallica will be involved in the 2016 pre-Super Bowl festivities, playing San Francisco’s AT&T Park on Feb. 6, the night before the big game.
The headlining concert comes via CBS Radio’s The Night Before, an annual Saturday-before-Super Sunday event. Alternative rockers Cage the Elephant, who have a forthcoming album with a definite release date, are opening the show.
