Metallica will top a lineup of metal heavyweights at Revolver’s fifth annual Golden Gods awards show.
The magazine’s May 2 show, which will air on AXS TV from Los Angeles’ Club Nokia, also include Five Finger Death Punch, Stone Sour, Anthrax, the Dillinger Escape Plan and Halestorm, along with a performance from Danzig and former Misfits bandmate Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. The duo toured together as recently as 2012, playing Misfits songs on a series of “Legacy” dates.
WWE icon Chris Jericho will host the show for a fourth time, with hard rockers from Gene Simmons to Marilyn Manson set to make appearances. Metallica will take home the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award, with Rob Zombie and Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi also due for honors.
The show will also be broadcast via Xbox Live and Facebook.
