Who’s “The Boss?” Melissa McCarthy, that’s who. The actress proved she’s top dog on Monday night when she crushed Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon in an epic game of Lip Sync Battle. “I don’t get nervous a lot, I’m pretty freaked out about crushing you,” McCarthy told Fallon just before she got ready to rumble.

Things started out pretty well for Fallon, who opened with a silly, pretending-to-stumble rendition of folkie Melanie’s 1971 novelty hit “Brand New Key” (aka “The Rollerskate Song”). McCarthy, though, proved she was there to play, tossing the mic stand to Jimmy, putting on a black baseball hat and busting endless moves during a fierce rendition of DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It To Ya.”
Jimmy put up a good fight, dropping to the floor to writhe around with a pillow for a goofy run through Zayn’s “Pillowtalk” that had McCarthy smiling (and maybe a bit nervous).

She had nothing to fear, though, because her ace was a glitter-soaked, wind machine-assisted blowout of Alan Menken’s 1995 “Pocahontas” hit “Colors of the Wind.”

Game, set, match McCarthy.
