In the latest unlikely pairing, Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg has met Lizzo.
The duo both stopped by CBS This Morning on Thursday (Dec. 12), where host Gayle King referenced Lizzo’s smash “Truth Hurts” by asking Buttigieg whether or not he’d taken a DNA test.
The mayor swiftly replied, “Yes, and I am 100 percent that… nominee.” The change was a relief to Lizzo, who fanned her face after she tried to stop him from saying the actual end to lyric: “I’m 100 percent that bitch.”

Buttigieg also took to Instagram to commemorate his time with Lizzo, shouting out her song “Good as Hell,” by noting that he’s “Feeling good after chatting with @lizzobeeating on set at @cbsthismorning!”
