  Mayer Hawthorne is a man with an eye for the details, dunks and situationally appropriate glasses.

  “The jacket is a piece by these guys from Norway called Mood to Norway. They’re real big on farming and partying. The told me that this embroidery on the sleeve is the number of registered farming tractors in Norway. They’re all about farming and drinking excessive amounts of champagne.”

  “I like it because it’s flashy but classy. Its got pink on the inside. The details are flashy but the outside is straight classy.”

  “I’ve been a DJ my whole life, so that’s why it’s a Technics 1200 turntable watch. I always drempt of it as a kid. And now I got it. This is a model that Flud makes. I have my own signature model of this watch coming out soon. It’s going to have my heart record on the turntable and my little logo on the bottom.”

  “The Adidas. These are custom made, one of a kind, just for me. They presented these to me at Lollapalooza when I performed there a couple months ago. Unbelievable. These are definitely one of the coolest things anyone has ever given me.”

  “These glasses are Electric Visual – they’re the Detroit model, which I love. I love anything that has to do with Detroit”

  “The other glasses are Oliver Peoples. These are more of my everyday glasses; they’re a little more essential. But sunglasses are important too, when you’re out drinking henny and ginger ale until three in the morning.”
