Massive Attack front man and founding member Robert Del Naja (aka 3-D) has inked an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with BMG Music Publishing for his future works.
Universal Music Publishing retains rights to his catalog.
BMG Publishing already has bandmate Neil Davidge on its books, having signed an exclusive publishing deal at the end of 2002.
“Going forward, we greatly anticipate working closely with the band, and their record label Virgin, to help create and proliferate more intoxicating music for the next generation and beyond,” says Paul Curran, managing director of BMG Music Publishing U.K.
Massive Attack’s most recent album, “100th Window,” hit No. 1 on European Top 100 Albums in the first quarter of 2003 after bowing at the top spot in the U.K.
