On Tuesday, Mary J. Blige released “Not Loving You,” the latest song from her upcoming album The London Sessions. Listen below:
Blige’s project involves a number of young English musicians, including Sam Smith and Disclosure. The album leaked at the end of October, but songs that she has officially released alternate between uptempo dance music — see “Right Now” — and piano-driven ballads like “Whole Damn Year.”

“Not Loving You” fits into the second category. It’s one of the sparest tracks on the album: just piano, finger snaps and Blige’s voice, mostly singing alone. “What you gonna do now, now that you’ve fallen down?” she asks. “There’s only so much I can do, if you’re not loving you.”
The London Sessions comes out Nov. 24 in the U.K. and Dec. 2 in the U.S.
