Mary J. Blige has been releasing songs and doing interviews at a steady clip since she announced a new album, The London Sessions, is coming this fall.
Not long ago, she performed two new songs on Later With… Jools Holland. On Thursday night, she performed a slightly older song, “F For You,” on Jimmy Kimmel with Disclosure, who are co-producing The London Sessions.
“F For You” originally came out on Disclosure’s debut album, Settle, featuring vocals from the duo’s own Howard Lawrence. Blige appeared on a remix, which is how she first connected with the U.K. brothers. This led to her upcoming album, which she worked on with the aid of Disclosure and a number of their collaborators, including Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes.
