
Young Dutch superstar Martin Garrix had a last-minute studio session with lead singer Nicholas Petricca of Walk the Moon, along with recording engineer Nick Breton at Truth Studios in Los Angeles.

Breton says the two artists “connected almost immediately” and that Petricca began jotting down notes oh his phone while Garrix played through several tracks.
In regards to the progress of the record, multiple full verse and hook ideas have been written. As for the vocals, “6 or 7 takes” have been recorded.
Truth Studios has been a popular spot for high-profile artists to record in the past, hosting sessions with Kiesza, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar and more.
