Who wants s’more Marshmello?
The puffy producer has been egging fans on with teasers of his forthcoming sophomore album Joytime Pt. 2. It’s a return to the bright, candy-coated trap sounds of his first days on the scene, and we know it’s 100 percent pure cane sugar for your brain, now that he debuted a few of the unreleased tracks during his headline set at EDC Las Vegas 2018.
He also shared a couple clips via Twitter. The first is a bouncy, sunshine rhythm with a vocal sample to “check this out.” The second is a sticky mouthful of bass crumbles, experienced from the point of the view of someone standing right beside the masked DJ in the booth. Both serve as perfect appetizers for the main course. We don’t have a menu release date for that morsel just yet, but we’re clearly getting close.
Check out the two unreleased tracks below.
