Hot off the cover of Forbes and still riding his biggest hit to date (“Happier” with Bastille), Marshmello has new music coming fast. The masked man just posted a teaser clip of a forthcoming single with up-and-coming rapper Roddy Ricch. The puffiest of producers has worked with plenty of rappers, from “Spotlight,” his posthumous single with Lil Peep, to “You Can Cry” with Juicy J and James Arthur.
Ricch is the latest voice from Compton to make waves. His single “Die Young” has amassed more than 10 million streams on Spotify. The collaboration sounds like a sing-along party jam, with a trap-influenced beat and melodic Marshmello touches. You can hear a snippet of the forthcoming single in the tweet from Marshmello below.
Currently, Marshmello’s Bastille collaboration “Happier” sits at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Can he and Ricch take things all the way? Stay tuned.
