Sarah Silverman, actress and “I’m F—ing Matt Damon” singer, is hosting the second episode of Saturday Night Live‘s 40th season this weekend. Her musical guest accompaniment? Maroon 5, who visit the show for the fifth time in 10 years. (They first appeared on February 21, 2004, when Adam Levine’s one-day Voice co-star was the host. Also, Levine hosted the show for the first time in early 2013, when Kendrick Lamar musical-guested.)
But are Maroon 5, you know, starstruck by Sarah Silverman, who was an SNL writer and featured player in the early ’90s and just won an Emmy for her HBO special? Not exactly. So they can write a song together sometime, maybe? Too late, already did! All the lyrics are the words “Sarah Silverman,” is the only thing.
