Grammy-winning producer, DJ and artist Mark Ronson has separated from his wife, Josephine de La Baume.
Ronson met the Singtank singer and actor in 2009 and the pair tied the knot two years later at a lavish ceremony in the south of France. The relationship, however, has since gone south. De La Baume filed documents for a legal separation citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ, with the date of separation listed at April 21.
They not have any children together, though de La Baume is asking for spousal support, E reports.
Ronson has been on a musical hot streak for the past decade, during which time he worked the desk for recordings by Amy Winehouse, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Duran Duran, Adele and many others. His career went supernova when, in 2008, he scooped the Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in recognition for his work on Winehouse’s hit sophomore album Back to Black, The awards kept coming, including Grammys for Producer of the Year and Record of the Year for the single “Rehab” and later, he scored his first U.K. and U.S. No. 1 single with “Uptown Funk,” featuring vocals from Bruno Mars. The song won Brit Awards and Grammys and the album it was lifted from, Uptown Special, reached No. 1 in the U.K.
Neither Ronson nor de La Baume have commented on their split on social media.
