
The reactions are pouring in over the deadly bomb blasts at numerous churches and hotels near the capital of Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday (April 21).
Artists like Mariah Carey, Imagine Dragons‘ Dan Reynolds, M.I.A., and more are sharing their thoughts and prayers following the horrific terrorist attack that killed at least 207 people and injured 450 others.

“Sri Lanka, my heart is with you. I’m praying for everyone affected by this horrible tragedy. Stay strong,” Carey posted on Twitter.
Imagine Dragons’ Reynolds tweeted that he was “heartbroken” to learn about the attacks.
“There are no words that could possibly bring comfort or understanding at times like these – I can only offer my deepest sorrow and love along with the millions of others mourning today,” he wrote.
The explosions hit three churches and three luxury hotels, killing both worshippers and guests. Sri Lanka Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardena described the bombings as a terrorist attack by religious extremists. Seven suspects had been arrested at press time, though no groups had claimed responsibility, according to the Associated Press.
