Mexican artists Marco Antonio Solis and Ana Gabriel today (May 10) announced in Miami a co-headlining U.S. tour, dubbed “Haciendo Historia” (Making History).
Both artists have long careers that straddle both pop and regional Mexican realms and have successfully toured together before, leading to this most recent partnership.
The tour, produced by Live Nation in association with CMN, Latino Events and Marquez Brothers, kicks off June 10 at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA and will then travel to 14 more cities, most of them in Texas and the West Coast, ending at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles October 16.
Solís, who was Billboard’s Latin Artist of the Decade, is one of the top selling acts in Latin music and one of its most prolific composers. Following an extensive Argentine tour, he is currently in the midst of a Central American tour.
Ana Gabriel, known for her distinctive, raspy voice, is widely viewed as one of Mexico’s most iconic acts and one who tours the U.S. frequently.
