The T.J. Martell Foundation, a charity focused on raising money for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research, has named a new president to its Board of Directors, three new members of the board as well as its board officers for this year in an announcement today.
Marcie Allen, founder of MAC Presents and a Billboard 40 Under 40 and Women In Music honoree last year, has been named president of the foundation after previously serving as a board member. Jennifer Breithaupt, Citi’s SVP of entertainment marketing, Troy Carter, CEO and founder of the Atom Factory and Marty Diamond, head of Paradigm Agency’s east coast music division, have been named as directors to the 2014 board. Tony Martell, Marcus Peterzell, Charlie Feldman, David Satler, Tom Corson and Kid Leo have been named officers of the board.

Martell Foundation’s 2014 National Board of Directors,” said Marcie Allen in a statement. “The foundation has made such a significant impact through the funding of critical research and I look forward to advancing this mission in my new role.”

Martell Foundation), Marcie Allen (president of MAC Presents), Marcus Peterzell (EVP of Ketchum Sports and Entertainment), Charlie Feldman (VP of Writer-Publisher Relations for BMI), David Salter (COO at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management), Tom Corson (president & COO, RCA Records) and radio legend Kid Leo (PD of Little Steven’s Underground/Sirius XM and President of LJT Entertainment).
2014 Advisory Members are: John Huie, co-head of Creative Artists Agency in Nashville and David Corlew, president of Blue Hat Records.

The T.J. Martell Foundation was started by Tony Martell in 1975 following the death of his son, T.J., from leukemia. In that time the Foundation has raised over $260 million for research.
