Toronto-based distributor MapleNationwide has picked up Canadian distribution of Los Angeles-based Domo Records and its affiliate Kanpai Records imprint, both of which have been distributed in Canada by Trend Music Group in Toronto.
MapleNationwide has additionally made deals with Quango Records, also in Los Angeles, which has been distributed by EMI Music Canada and Grow-op Records which had been distributed in Canada by Fusion III in Montreal.
Under the new agreements there will be Fall releases from: The Twelve Girls Band (Domo); Unconscious Ruckus by Appogee, and Filters by Peas (Kanpai); and Bliss, and British chill DJ Phil Mison, recording under the moniker Cantoma, both for Quango Records.
MapleNationwide is owned by Maple Core which also operates the MapleRecordings and Open Road labels. The labels and MapleNationwide are distributed nationally in Canada by Universal Music Canada.
