Since announcing her engagement to singer Taylor Goldsmith, Mandy Moore has shared details on the upcoming wedding — from the ceremony to the honeymoon. In an interview with InStyle, she dished about the jewel adorning her ring finger.
“Taylor went to one of my favorite jewelers, Irene Neuwirth, and picked out every detail that he thought I’d like, from the round, faceted stone to the rose gold band. It is so me,” Moore said.
Although the glitz and glamour of Hollywood typically require bling, Moore is someone who prefers understated jewelry in real life. “I’ve never been someone who wears a lot of jewelry. It’s fun to get dressed up and wear gorgeous pieces for work, but in my real life, I usually just put on a pair of stud earrings,” she told InStyle.
The This Is Us actress was reportedly considering a simple band until she saw the ring Goldsmith picked out. She gushed about the care her now-fiance put into finding the statement jewelry.
“Because he put so much love and thought into it, I’ve never felt so special,” Moore said.
Moore and Goldsmith dated for two years before announcing their engagement in September. Moore has previously stated that they are planning a low-key affair.
