The Fader Inc., today announced the hire of media veteran Malcolm Campbell as VP of business development, a new position. President and Publisher Andy Cohn made the announcement.
Campbell brings decades of experience having worked for more than five years as publisher for Spin Media, Previously he was group publisher and publisher for publications including Vice and Blender, while most recently joining a.m. New York/Newsday Media Group as senior advertising director.
“With Malcolm we have a leader with experience in the music media landscape, and someone who truly understands youth culture joining our team,” said Cohn in a statement. “As we continue to grow across our print, digital, experiential and mobile platforms, adding a figure of Malcolm’s caliber will enhance what we’re able to offer our partners, and accelerate the impact and appeal of The Fader brand.”
Campbell will lead the expansion of non-endemic business sales across each platform through automotive, technology, retail, and alcohol categories.
