A demo version of the purported first single off of Madonna’s next album has been leaked online.
The retro-sounding “Gimme All Your Love” would be included on the singer’s 12th studio album, which will be released in spring 2012.
Madonna began work on the album in July, according to a tweet by her manager Guy Oseary. She said during press rounds promoting her film W.E. at the Venice Film Festival that the first single was due out in Feb. or March of next year.
The song begins with cheerleaders/singers chanting to a snare drum: “L-U-V Madonna. Y-O-U you wanna?”
Madonna then sings, “I see you coming and I don’t want to know your name/ I see you coming and you’re gonna have to change your game.”
The chorus is pretty straight forward: “Gimme all your love and gimme your love, give me all your love today/Gimme all your love and gimmie your love, let’s forget about time and dance our lives away.”
The single sports an ’80s sound with synthesizers, drum machines and “Hey Mickey” -like back-up vocals.
The album will be Madonna’s first CD since leaving Warner Bros. for a 360 deal with Live Nation.
