Madonna praised her Oscar-winning pal Lady Gaga, who went home with the best original song trophy for A Star Is Born‘s “Shallow.”
“Don’t Mess with Italian Girls,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two icons smiling in a sea of white sheets at Madonna and Guy Oseary’s after-party on Sunday night (Feb. 24). Water seems to be under the bridge for the duo, who feuded over the years following Gaga’s “Born This Way” and its eerie similarities to Madonna’s “Express Yourself.” Though Madonna never took legal action, both she and Gaga have made subtle jabs at each other throughout the years.
