300 Entertainment chief Lyor Cohen has been Snapchatting from his hospital bed while recovering from a pulmonary embolism that he suffered over the weekend. According to a video grab posted on DJ Akademiks’ Twitter account (April 14), Cohen teases his comeback.
“Anyhow, I’ll give you details tomorrow but I’m back,” says a hospital gown-clad Cohen before bopping his head to 300 signee Young Thug’s “With Them” off his recently released album Slime Season 3.

On Wednesday night (April 13), Cohen’s episode on the CNBC series Follow The Leader showed the CEO pre-embolism, coaching Thugger on taking his time piecing together hits.
“If you don’t freestyle and you actually work on the singles, and record great choruses and develop your songs, yes [you’ll have more hits],” he tells Thug, whose SS3 debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart after its March 25 release. “You just record so many songs and leave them like little orphans out there.” In the same episode, the hip-hop mogul and the Atlanta rapper also pay visits to Spotify and YouTube.
A rep for Cohen told Billboard that “he was recovering” when asked for comment.
