Luke Bryan is gearing up for football season. The country superstar will join ABC’s first time primetime coverage of the NFL Draft, announced on Monday (April 15) during the latest episode of American Idol.
Bryan will be joining hosts Robin Roberts and ESPN’s Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit for the night’s coverage. The event isn’t Bryan’s first time dipping his toes into the football world. He served as GameDay’s guest picker during the show’s 2018 season opener.

On-air personality Bobby Bones will report from the streets of Nashville on both nights of the draft, and Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback and 2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes will be a special guest with Roberts before round one kicks off.
Night one featuring Luke Bryan will air live from Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m. EST. Rounds two and three begin April 26 at 7 p.m. EST, and rounds four through seven air April 27 at noon EST.
