Lucien Boyer has been named chief marketing officer at Universal Music Group’s sister division Vivendi Village.
Boyer will be tasked with helping accelerate the development of integrated marketing offers across Vivendi’s myriad businesses.
Boyer, who joins the group from Havas Sports & Entertainment, where he served as president & global CEO, is responsible for identifying partners willing to associate their brands to the Group’s activities in talent, live events, merchandising, as well as in content production, broadcast and distribution.
Boyer reports in his new role to Simon Gillham, member of Vivendi’s management board and chairman of Vivendi Village.
Vivendi Village is the division which gathers Vivendi Ticketing (ticketing in the U.S., U.K., and France.), MyBestPro (experts counseling), Watchever (subscription video-on-demand) and the Paris-based concert venue L’Olympia.
