K-pop girl group Lovelyz is getting attention for their live rendition of Michael Jackson‘s “Beat It” with footage of their performance winding up on American television.
The young act performed the Hot 100 No. 1 on popular Korean talk show/music program You Hee-Yeol’s Sketchbook, reworking the ’80s classic into an impressive, eight-part a cappella interpretation. Watch below:
The cover has gained some attention online with the clip amassing several hundred thousand views on YouTube. It also made its way to FOX morning show Good Day Chicago and was featured during a must-see video section.
After making their debut on the K-pop scene last November, the octet released their Lovelyz8 EP in late September, led by the single “Ah-Choo.” The accompanying music video to the track has also racked up an impressive amount of views since its release, 1.6 million to be exact.
