The record shortly follows the success of Carpenter’s solo single “Why” on Hollywood Records which has already surpassed 40 million Spotify streams since its July 7 release.
“First Love” drops simultaneously with the track’s music video, shot by Lost Kings’ right-hand media man Tyler Bailey. The video captures the duo’s busy summer touring, backstage antics and studio sessions alongside Carpenter delivering her head-bopping verses and hook.
