Earlier this year, New Zealand pop singer-songwriter Lorde and U.K. dance brother duo Disclosure took the stage together at the Brit Awards for a surprisingly effective mashup of “Royals” and “White Noise.”
Well, it seems that awards show pairing wasn’t a one-off. Based on a new tweet from Lorde, it appears an Oreo milkshake brought the British boys back to the yard.
“Making tunes and getting Oreo milkshakes with Disclosure,” she tweeted on Wednesday, June 10.
That’s exciting news — especially because she specifically says “tunes” (presumably new songs) and not just “music” (which could indicate a casual jam session that might not produce any studio tracks).

Disclosure have proven themselves adept at producing winners for other artists: “Latch” put Sam Smith on the map, and their tracks with Mary J. Blige were among the best on her latest album, The London Sessions.
I can’t wait to hear what they come up with. In the meantime, here’s a suggested title for one of their tunes: “Theophany,” i.e., when the Lord discloses him/herself to humans.
