Lorde took to Twitter on Saturday, May 3 to accuse New Zealand photographer Simon Runting of stalking her, reports New York Daily News.
“This man has been stalking me, photographing me, and refusing me privacy,” she tweeted along with a picture of Runting. “I am scared of him.”

Lorde, whose real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, goes on to name him as the same photographer that took pictures of Rihanna standing in her Auckland hotel room last year. “This should not be an accepted standard for young women or anyone in this industry,” she adds. followed by a link to his Facebook profile. “I refuse to stay complicit and I refuse to stay passive about men systematically subjecting me to extreme fear.” Find her full list of tweets below.

Simon Runting has been slammed by Rihanna as well, who posted an Instagram of Runting’s shot of her wrapped in a blanket and compared paparazzi to Nazis, paraphrasing the lyrics from her song “Flashing Lights” with Kanye West.

Yelich-O’Connor’s litany follows criticism she leveled last week at others involved in the music industry: journalists who interview an artist and then negatively review his or her album. “Bugs me how publications like complex will profile interesting artists in order to sell copies/get clicks and then shit on their records?” she wrote on her Tumblr. “It happens to me all the time- pitchfork and that ilk being like ‘can we interview you?’ after totally taking the piss out of me in a review. have a stance on an artist and stick to it. don’t act like you respect them then throw them under the bus.”
