Artists are sending prayers and messages of love to London following reports of a vehicle running down pedestrians on London Bridge and people being stabbed at nearby Borough Market, as well as a stabbing over a mile away in the Vauxhall area.
The Metropolitan Police, who said they were called to the scene just after 10 p.m. local time, tweeted that the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks were declared as terrorist incidents. The stabbing at Vauxhall was unrelated to the terrorist attacks.
“Praying for London,” Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas all tweeted.
Neon Trees singer Tyler Glenn wrote, “This is terrifying. Love and peace to London and the world quite frankly.”
Ellie Goulding tweeted, “Incredible work by emergency services. Another senseless attack that still won’t divide us. Love you so much London.”
