Lindsay Lohan gets personal on her new single, “Confessions of a Broken Heart,” which doubles as the title track of her sophomore album. The set is due Nov. 22 via Casablanca/Universal; the single, which “addresses her much publicized family issues,” according to her Web site, is available beginning today (Sept. 30) exclusively from AOL Music for 24 hours.
Lohan is also directing the video for “Confessions,” which began shooting this week in New York and reportedly finds the artist’s younger sister Ali playing Lohan as a younger girl.
“Confessions of a Broken Heart” is the follow-up to Lohan’s 2004 debut album, “Speak,” which debuted at No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 1 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Lohan has wrapped work on her next film, “Just My Luck,” which will open in March in U.S. theaters. She will also appear in director Robert Altman’s film adaptation of Garrison Keilor’s long-running radio show, “A Prairie Home Companion.”
