On Monday (Jan. 1), YouTuber Logan Paul received heavy backlash after posting a disturbing video of a dead man who seemed to have committed suicide in Aokigahara forest, also known as Japan’s “suicide forest.” Just days later, a compilation video was released to show the other disrespectful activities Paul and his crew did during their trip.
The edited clip from Paul’s vlogs, posted by We The Unicorns, opens with the YouTube star (quite ironically) saying “I just got to be careful not to disrespect the culture. Japan is all about the respect.” The video then dives into multiple scenes of the vlogger doing the exact opposite, including smashing Game Boys in a game store, scaring people with raw fish, throwing Pokeballs at policemen and cars, and running around the streets in a kimono and kasa.

The original video that stirred controversy has since been deleted, and Paul posted a tweet and corresponding YouTube video on Wednesday (Jan. 3) to announce his break from vlogging in order “to reflect.”
