Attorneys Jeffrey Goldman and Scott Edel have joined Loeb & Loeb as partners in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Goldman joins the firm as a partner in the litigation department. He will work with the intellectual property and entertainment litigation and music practice groups. He was previously a partner with Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp.
Goldman has represented all of the major record companies and was one of the attorneys involved in the original Napster litigation. In addition to representing publishing companies, he has also represented recording artists including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Rob Zombie and Soulja Boy Tell’em.
Edel joined the firm’s Los Angeles office in January as a partner in the entertainment and media group. He will focus his practice on entertainment industry transactions. Edel was a partner with Lleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy Edel & Klein in Los Angeles.
Edel has practiced in the motion picture, television and new media industries handling complex production, distribution and financing transactions and network licensing agreements. He has also represented film composers, performers, songwriters, record producers and music production and publishing companies.
