Christmas may be just around the corner, but musicians aren’t quite ready to take a break for the holidays just yet. In fact, the week of Dec. 14-20 features a pretty packed schedule of streaming music events.
Among them are the Foo Fighters, who are closing out Amazon’s Holiday Plays series hosted by Lil Nas X, a classic Pearl Jam show filmed in Rome in 2018, and various benefit shows that are aiming to help charities during this season of giving.

Dec. 14-20: Straight No Chaser are performing shows live from Maryland’s MGM National Harbor. Each show will have a unique setlist featuring holiday hits and pop staples, as well as some of the group’s most beloved tunes, as well as songs that they have yet to perform live. Tickets start at $20.
Dec. 15: The Foo Fighters close out Amazon’s Holiday Plays concert series hosted by Lil Nas X. The band’s set will include some of their classic songs as well as “Shame Shame,” the first single off upcoming album Medicine at Midnight. The stream begins at 8 p.m. via the Amazon Music app and its Twitch channel, as well as on Prime Video and Amazon’s homepage.
Jack Black, Jewel, Tori Kelly and more are participating in “Merry and Bright,” a virtual celebration to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET.
Marc Roberge of O.A.R. is performing live from The Barn at Gold Ring. He’ll be doing songs from each of the band’s albums. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET.
T.I. is having an in-depth conversation as part of the Pandora Playback series. The chat begins at 9 p.m. ET. RSVP for the free event.
Dec. 17: Grandson is celebrating the release of his debut album, Death of an Optimist, with a livestream event. The show, streaming from L.A.’s Roxy Theatre, will feature the live debut of the album, as well as footage from the studio and more. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET via NoCap; tickets are $10.
Lewis Capaldi is performing from Glasgow, Scotland, to help benefit non-profit Hope to Dream. The show is free and begins at 9 p.m. ET.
Pianist Arthur Hanlon’s Christmas solo outdoor piano show “Un Piano En Navidad” streams Dec. 7 on Facebook at 7 p.m. ET, as part of the Key Biscayne Piano Festival. He’ll play classics like “Silent Night” and “Carol of the Bells.”
Courtney Barnett performs a global livestream from Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building. The event will be available across various time zones for fans around the world. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET and PT; tickets are $18.
Pink Martini are playing their first streaming concert, “Home for the Holidays.” The set was filmed in Portland in front of a Christmas tree. Though the set was pretaped, members of the band will be participating in a live chat and offering commentary. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15 (bundles are available for those interested in also viewing the band’s New Year’s Eve show).
Melanie Martinez is streaming a live show titled “Can’t Wait Till I’m Out of K-12” on Headliner. Tickets start at $18.50; the show begins at 8 p.m. ET and PT.
Dec. 18: Barenaked Ladies are doing a special holiday livestream featuring songs from Barenaked for the Holidays as well as some sketch comedy written by the band. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET; tickets are $15.
NYX Professional Makeup is partnering with Bebe Rexha for a virtual Triller concert in support of its multi-faceted Spring 2021 Collection Drop. NYX Professional Makeup will kick off the drop with an exclusive Snapchat AR Store (here), followed by the free, virtual Triller LIVE concert by Rexha that will stream on the @nyxcosmetics page (as well as on Twitch and YouTube) at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Miguel is headlining a virtual concert which will also include performances by D-Smoke, MC Magic and more. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET and streams on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
Gordon Lightfoot is performing live from Toronto’s El Mocambo. He’ll be playing hits as well as deep cuts. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET; tickets start at $39.99.
The Goo Goo Dolls’ Robby Takac is playing an acoustic set of holiday favorites and some rarities by the band to raise money for charity. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET, and is pay what you can. Proceeds will go to Music Is Art.
Hot Chip and Friends are doing a charity stream to benefit Crisis, which helps people who are homeless. The show begins at 3 p.m. ET.
Katie Melua is playing her first global livestream show, which will be filmed from London’s Rivoli Ballroom. She’ll be performing songs from her latest release, Album No. 8. Shows begin at 8 p.m. ET and PT; tickets are $20.
The Front Bottoms are doing a virtual Champagne Jam featuring Bad Bad Hats, Betcha, Grouplove, The Regrettes, and many others. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Feeding America, Planned Parenthood, and 1% for the Planet. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.
Dec. 19: Pearl Jam’s June 26, 2018 concert in Rome streams via nugs.net. The concert features 39 songs, and stream will include behind-the-scenes footage. The stream begins at 3 p.m. ET; pre-order tickets are $9.99.
Pete Yorn is performing his final livestream show of the year, as well as his second all fan-request set. He’ll also be doing a pre-show Q&A. The event begins at 6 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.
Josh Groban’s holiday concert will air at 4:00 p.m. ET with a second showing at 8:00 p.m. ET (tickets here).
Dance Gavin Dance will be performing live from the Sacramento Tower Bridge. The setlist is fan-voted, and will include songs the band has never done live before. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.
Honduras are doing a “Farewell 2020” show to benefit Girls Club. The show begins at 9 p.m. ET; tickets start at $15.
Old Settler’s Music Festival goes virtual with WinterFest 2020 holiday celebration and fundraiser. The two-hour livestream is hosted by Shinyribs’ Kevin Russell, and will feature Red Wine, Balsam Range, Amanda and Kenny Smith, and many other artists. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET and can be viewed via Facebook and YouTube.
Dec. 20: Sarah Brightman is doing a global livestream concert broadcast from London’s historic Christ Church. She’ll be performing holiday classics and fan favorites; special guests include Aled Jones and Gregorians, as well as a collaboration with Andrew Lloyd Webber. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and PT; tickets start at $18.
