Mexican superstars Alejandro Fernández, Marco Antonio Solís and Joan Sebastian will team for a nine-city U.S. tour that kicks off April 10 in Anaheim, Calif. The “Los Tres” tour will be produced by Live Nation and tickets go on sale Feb. 12.
The “Los Tres” (The Three) concept is a spin on “Juntos En Concierto,” the multi-act Latin concert series led by Marc Anthony, which launched in 2005 and has featured the tropical/pop star in concert with two other major superstars representing different genres of Latin music.
This “Los Tres” concept is a departure in that it features three stellar Mexican acts, of which two – Fernández and Solís – straddle both pop and regional Mexican worlds (Joan Sebastian is known as a regional Mexican singer).
The tour’s West Coast-centric route reflects the repertoire of the artists. All three acts are among the most successful in Latin music. Fernández currently has two albums – “Dos Mundos: Tradición” and “Dos Mundos: Evolución” – on the top ten of Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart while Solis was Billboard’s Top Latin Artist of the decade.
