Live Nation has partnered with Internet ad network AdBrite to launch eFan Finder, a free tool designed to track the performance of Live Nation’s online advertising campaigns for concerts it markets and produces across North America.
In conjunction with AdBrite — which buys and sells ad space for approximately 50,000 Web sites — the goal of Live Nation’s eFan Finder is to help artist managers, local concert promoters and booking agents view the sites where Live Nation concert ads are appearing. The tool then reveals how many times an ad was shown and clicked on by consumers.
“We expect eFan Finder to result in reduced marketing costs and increased impressions, all while providing instantaneous reporting for managers and agents and our local marketers across the U.S.,” Live Nation CEO of North American Music Jason Garner said in a statement.
Live Nation has used AdBrite’s services over the past year to help promote concerts for such artists as Van Halen, Josh Groban, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band and the Jonas Brothers. Live Nation markets and produces 10,000 concerts annually in North America, according to Garner.
