Promising Brooklyn synth-pop trio Little Daylight will follow its 2013 EP “Tunnel Vision” with “Hello Memory,” its self-produced debut album due out on July 15 through Capitol Records. The 10-song release was preceded by tours supporting artists like Bastille and Charli XCX, as well as acclaimed remixes of songs by Passion Pit and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

The group’s Matt Lewkowicz says that Campbell Hooper, who designed the eye-popping album cover, “has a phenomenal eye for shapes and color. We all wanted the art to be tangible; something you could touch and leave a mark on if you pressed too hard.
“We got to know Cam’s flair for abstraction and motion during the filming of our ‘Overdose’ video, which he directed so well,” Lewkowicz continues. “He came up with something totally new for “Hello Memory” but we see the same energy in the drips and dashes on this cover, even in the still image. For us, it brings to mind that moment right when you wake up from an intense dream. The faces and places start to slip away but the way it made you feel is still so present.”
“Overdose,” one of the highlights of the “Tunnel Vision” EP, will also be included on the group’s debut full-length, which will be available for pre-order on iTunes beginning May 20. On May 21, Little Daylight will make its television debut, with a performance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
