Columbia artist Vivian Green has been added to the line-up of artists performing at the May 23 fundraiser for the family of industry vet Theresa Brilli Wilson, who died March 20 of cancer in Queens, N.Y.
Cyndi Lauper, Nellie McKay, Steve Forbert and Sandra Bernhard are also scheduled to appear at the event, which will take place at New York’s Irving Plaza.
Wilson, who was 45, held posts at Elektra, Sony Music, Universal Music Group and Arista from 1981-2003. She also managed C+C Music Factory from 1994-97. Throughout her career, she worked with such artists as Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Mariah Carey and OutKast.
Also planned is an eBay auction of autographed memorabilia starting May 15. Proceeds from the events will help Wilson’s family pay off medical expenses, which exceed $150,000. Tax-deductible donations or items for the auction can be sent to Friends of Theresa, c/o So What Management, 264 W. 91 St., New York, N.Y. 10024.
