Universal Motown released a new song by Lindsay Lohan titled “Bossy” to media outlets yesterday (May 7). The track, a video of which leaked to YouTube earlier in the week, spotlights the raspy-voiced actor/singer’s dominating side as she rhymes about liking things her way over simple drums.
Although it’s unclear who produced “Bossy,” FoxNews.com recently reported Lohan was in the studio with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Pharrell and Timbaland for her as-yet-untitled third album. The label had no comment as of press time.
Lohan’s debut album, 2004’s “Speak,” released via her previous label
Casablanca, sold 1.1 million copies to date in the United States
according to Nielsen SoundScan. Her sophomore effort, 2005’s “A Little
More Personal,” has moved 305,000 units thus far.
In related news, Lohan’s 14-year-old sister Ali is also reportedly
recording her own album to be released on Universal Music Group’s
Interscope via Maloof Music, according to the site.
